Creative Dental Ceramics is the New Zealand laboratory for the revolutionary All-On-4™ denture system.

Inspired by Malo

Dr Paulo Malo is an inspiration to many who meet him. Born in Angola, educated in South Africa and achieving his Dental degree in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a surgeon, an educator, an inventor, an entrepreneur and much more.

He is also generous. In 2007 a group of Australian Dental professionals, Dr Alex Fibishenko, Dr Larry Benge and Russell Young (Dental Prosthetist and Master Ceramist) had the opportunity to visit his world famous clinic in Lisbon to see first hand the incredible MALO CLINIC where Dr Malo operates, teaches, trains and shares with the world his unique concept of the All-on-4™ Total Oral Rehabilitation that he invented in 1993. They witnessed patients being transformed from dental cripples to people with beautiful smiles and functioning sets of teeth in just one day. He also taught them why some full mouth reconstructions were failing and why so many problems arose with aesthetics, function and phonetics in large implant cases. He showed them a new way and gave them a different alternative.

All-on-4™ is a paradigm shift in Full Arch Implant Surgery, Implant/Prosthetic design and implementation. The traditional thinking of bone preservation/bone grafting, more implants, multiple appointments over a lengthy time period and costly procedures has been challenged by 4 implants (two of them tilted), bone reduction (where necessary) and immediate loading often in the same day. This leads to happy patients, lower costs and better aesthetics due to the increased space for the Dentist and Dental technician to create the prosthesis.

Dr Malo's invention was taken back to Australia and successfully launched in Melbourne 5 years ago. Their journey with All-on-4™ in Australia has been amazing and more than 2000 cases later is a testimony to Dr Malo's incredible technology.

A special acknowledgement and a huge thank you to Dr Malo for his invention that he has shared with the world. In this booklet we humbly share with you what he has taught us and what we have learnt on our journey with All-on-4™ in Australia and now in New Zealand as well.

Crown & Bridge Manufacture

In the Creative Dental Ceramics Crown and Bridge Department, we cater for pretty much anything you ask for.

Our product range covers single crowns and 3 unit bridges to full mouth rehabilitation bridges, as well as single implant manufacture to full mouth implant retained Hybrid super structures.
These can be manufactured in a number of different materials including:

Emax ™ (Lithium Disilicate)

Bruxzir ™ (full anatomical Zirconia crowns)

PFM (Porcelain fused to metal) crowns using Non-precious, Semi-precious and Precious alloys

Gold Crowns using 14 carat and 18 carat gold

These can all be either cad/cam scanned and designed or custom manufactured in our laboratory.

Bars

All platforms of the above systems can be restored to fixture in Bar Over Denture format. There are many different designs for bars, each with its own purpose and in every case is different. Generally a Titanium/Hybrid acrylic design is used. However, Zirconia and in some cases Tilite (NP) can be used.
